Our Nail Technology program prepares students with critical knowledge and skills to enter the exciting beauty industry as a licensed Nail Technician through the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia. Licensing is a mandatory requirement to practice Nail Technology within the province of Nova Scotia.

The ideal candidate for this profession will possess creativity, artistic ability, passion for beauty and an enjoyment interacting with people. The key focus of the program is to teach students through creative theory delivery and practical demos. Students will learn both theoretical and practical applications in relation to spa manicure and pedicures, and various types of nail enhancements with specific attention to proper sterilization, infectious control in compliance with Health Canada and Cosmetology Association regulations.

Our facility has a full service professional salon/spa onsite for students to attain real life work experience to ensure job readiness the minute you complete the nail tech program.

The 3 intake dates for our nail technician school in Nova Scotia are in the Spring, Fall and Winter of each year.

At Elevate Beauty, we believe that a smaller number of students in our Nail Tech program helps improve student engagement and also helps us provide more individualized attention to our students. Our nail tech program has a maximum number of 12 students.

a) Any application or registration fees are non-refundable

b) Supply and Student Kits are non-refundable except where items are returned unopened or as issued no later than 5 business days after the end of student enrollment.

c) 100% of tuition will be refunded in the event enrollment ends before the program start date.

d) Except as otherwise noted in the Private Career Colleges Act or these regulations, a student whose end of enrollment occurs after the program start date and before the program end date, the following table outlines the refund applicable:
